See you in Boston!

Just a quick reminder: My designs and I will be at the Windsor Button in Boston TOMORROW, August 29, from 1 to 4 in the afternoon. There will also be patterns and t-shirts! I'm looking forward to meeting some rad Boston-area knitters!

  • Thanks for stopping in Boston! It was great to meet you, and I can't wait until you publish the pattern for the pineapple cardigan! (No pressure....) Have a safe trip home, and all best wishes for a great (accident-, burglar-, veterinarian-free) fall.

  • It was great to meet you yesterday and see everything in person. I'm looking forward to the release of the new patterns.

  • Emily,
Saw your website patterns on Ralvery and had to say this is a wonderful site. I love to hear other peoples stories, and to create a pattern to reflect that person is a beautiful reminder of your loved one. I can't help but be reminded of our Annul Christmas present from my grandmother who would crochet every girl a pair of granny square booties. At the time they were NOT our favorite present from her. Could it be that they were knit out of SCRATCHY acrillic yarn, or that they really didn't keep your feet warm (granny squres= holey) or that they hurt your feet when you wore them. But now that Granny Harris is gone I would have given anything to have kept one pair. Fortunately my cousin had found a pair hidden in a cedar chest and she gave them to me. So good luck and I'll keep reading!

    Take Care

  • Thank you so much, Nat! That's so great that your cousin had that keepsake from your grandmother to give you. I really relate about prizing certain things more in hindsight than I did at the time. Anyway, thanks for stopping by!
